Guest Chefs at The Ronald McDonald House

On August 10, 2018, volunteers from The A.J. Gohil Family Foundation were guest chefs at the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Chestnut location). This particular Ronald McDonald House is relatively large compared to the other houses in the area, so the number of people we fed was around seventy-five.

This event meant a lot to us because of the specific demographic that we were reaching out to. Focussing on young children with chronic illnesses, disabilities and injuries is what The A.J. Gohil Family Foundation is here for. We want to help the children and the families in any way we can.

The A.J. Gohil Family Foundation decided to cook Italian Food. The menu consisted of caesar salad, garlic bread,  creamy spinach, vegetable alfredo fettuccine, chicken parmesan, and spaghetti. We also brought dessert from Insomnia Cookies, the most essential part.

We were delighted to hear all the families enjoyed the food and the Ronald McDonald House, and the families enjoyed having us.

The A.J. Gohil Family Foundation would like to thank The Ronald McDonald House and the families for welcoming us. We want to thank our volunteers (pictured to the right). We are grateful to these volunteers who dedicated their time and money to us. We thank the people behind the scenes for making this happen. Lastly, we would like to thank God for putting us in a position to help and giving us this opportunity to help others.
